Biography:
Android 17, also known as Lapis before his augmentation, is a key character in the Dragon Ball Z anime series. He first appears during the Android Saga, specifically in episode 133, "Nightmare Comes True" of the anime. He was originally a human, kidnapped and modified by Dr. Gero into a powerful cyborg.
Initially, Android 17 is depicted as rebellious and disdainful of Dr. Gero's control. He, along with his twin sister Android 18, quickly eliminates Dr. Gero and sets out to fulfill their own desires, primarily to kill Goku.
Following the defeat of Super Buu, Android 17 is revived. In Dragon Ball Super, he reappears as a dedicated park ranger, committed to protecting wildlife. He possesses immense power, surpassing even that of Super Saiyan Blue Goku, and plays a crucial role in the Tournament of Power.
